The Graskop Gorge Lift Co lifestyle centre forms the gateway to the forest below and is made up of a number of small retail outlets, a community craft market, and a restaurant perched on the cliff edge with spectacular views of the waterfall and forest below. The gorge is centrally located on the Panorama Route and is an ideal stop over point, whether it be for the view, the forest, the food or the various adventure activities, guided tours and hikes in the surrounding areas there is bound to be something for everyone.

If you are visiting the Panorama Route, the Graskop Gorge Lift Co is a definite must, it's much more than just a viewpoint. The highlight is definitely the glass Viewing Lift that takes you down 51 meters into the heart of the gorge. The ride down (and back up!) is smooth and offers a spectacular front-row seat to the cliff face and the waterfall. At the bottom, you step out into a green, lush forest that feels like a hidden magic world. The elevated wooden walkways make it easy to explore the adventureous forest trails. There are lots of activities, the suspension bridges are awesome experience. The Graskop Gorge Lift Co is well-organized and caters to all ages. Beautiful, professionally run, and truly unique. Whether you're there for the "green lush" forest walk or the adrenaline of the swing, it's a world-class facility that is worth every cent.
