Customer Reviews

What an incredible experience! The whole precinct is user-friendly: great signage and accessible walkways to the restaurants, bridge and viewing decks. The lift was easy, and helpful staff ensured that my husband (who was on crutches) was directed to the waterfall, where, after viewing, he could sit and watch the eager bungee jumpers and zipliners above him. The rest of our party undertook the magical walk through the forest: decked walkways, enhanced by interesting bits of information, interactive art and an unparalleled sense of mystery and beauty... We completed our experience by having some cake and coffee at the restaurant -- and spent some time enjoying that spectacular view from the decks and the hang-bridge. The Gorge is a Must-See on a visit to this lovely part of South Africa! - Linda de Meillon

Interesting and informative walkabout. The information boards and tree identities makes it both a learning and enjoyable outing. Access was both quick and efficient. - Gerald Boting

Excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Something you must do. - Belinda Nel

A fantastic experience. Well done. A fantastic experience and a place not to be missed in Mpumulanga - Andre Kunz

This was definitely a outing that was worthwhile. The pathways are safe for all ages to walk along, although sections have numerous steps to climb either up or down. That depends on the direction chosen after the lift trip down into the forest. Time must not be an issue when visiting as it allows those that are not that fit to catch their breath at one of the many well designed information signs that cover a vast array of fauna and flora subjects. - Mark Wilmot
