Customer Reviews

My wife and I visited the Viewing Lift and Forest Walk on 15 June 2025, which was also her birthday. What a wonderful birthday present it was too! We arrived early and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff members. Before descending on the lift, we walked around the entrance area and were very impressed by the beautiful decor, restaurants, coffee shops and curio stalls. We then walked along the suspension bridge and admired the stunning view of the gorge. Then we experienced the 51m descent on the lift to the Forest Walk. What an incredible and beautiful experience - walking in and through nature, being able to admire the numerous tree and bush species. We also heard the sound of baboons jumping in the trees! The walkways are very well maintained and one can rest in the designated areas and read all about the different plant, tree and animal life found in the gorge. We also enjoyed a cup of freshly made coffee amongst the trees before coming across a stunning waterfall and clear pool. We then boarded the lift again ( we chose not to walk), and ascended back to where we started. We've travelled extensively around the world, including Disneyland in Florida, and can proudly say, that this experience matches anything else we have ever seen anywhere! We've already told our family and many friends about our experience and have encouraged them to visit this wonderful place. Congratulations and well done to the owners and everyone else involved! - Stephen

We loved our trip so much. Everybody was efficient and helpful. The information on the board walk was so interesting. We enjoyed our meal at the Lift Cafe. Overall it was a good way to celebrate my partner's 90th birthday. - Marj

We found the end to end (online booking to exit cards) experience very professional and organised. Staff were well informed, polite and cheerful. The walk through the forest was a lovely experience with a sturdy path, information boards and an interactive activity (eagles view). It was good to see staff along the path who gave us additional information and were ensuring guests were safe. - Lorna
